At Redeemer Central we really believe in the importance of team leadership. Redeemer is led by an amazing group of people as part of an Eldership Team and a Leadership Team.

ELDERSHIP TEAM

David Capener
David leads the team at Redeemer and his primarly roles are vision and strategy, preaching and leadership development. He is married to Trish, they have four kids, and together they lead Upper East City:Group.

Ryan Hawthorne
Ryan’s main roles in Redeemer are giving shape to our missional communities (City:Groups) and discipleship in the life of Redeemer. He is married to Jude and they have two daughters. Together they lead a City:Group in Parkgate, Ballyclare called ‘The Village’.

David Wylie
David leads the Pastoral Care within Redeemer and along with his wife Charis, leads the Welcome Team in Redeemer helping connect people into Redeemer. He and Charis also lead City:Group Inner East - a missional community in East Belfast.

David Armstrong
David leads the Worship Team in Redeemer and looks after media, communications and the Red:Collective. He also leads a City:Group in South Belfast.

Trish Capener
Trish looks after women’s ministry as well as discipling younger women. She is married to David, they have four kids, and together they lead Upper East City:Group.

Gillian Stewart
Gillian is involved with women’s ministry and pastoral care within Redeemer as well as leading worship and co-leading Strandtown City:Group.

Gareth Hamilton
Gareth’s main role in Redeemer is pastoral care. He is married to Esther and they have a daughter. Together they lead a City:Group in Carrick.
