Red:Film ‘Killing Bono’ @ We Are Belfast

Phil will be talking about the production and art direction of the film. We're hoping to get an exciting early peek at some rushes of footage during Phil's talk. Not to be missed!

//About the movie ‘Killing Bono’//

Shot on location in Belfast, Lisburn and other locations in NI and in cinemas later this year. Based on the Neil McCormick autobiography of the same name is a comedy about two luckless brothers, Neil and Ivan McCormick, trying to make it with their band in late 1970’s Dublin. They just happen to have four more talented classmates named Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr, David Evans (The Edge) and Paul David Hewson - aka Bono.

//We Are Belfast Exhibition//

The talk is part of the We Are Belfast exhibition, an exciting and accessible city-centre art exhibition, hosted by Redeemer Central and the Red:Collective. With contributions from Red:Photo and Red:Writers, the exhibition will showcase local Belfast-based talent through photography, art, and the written word. ‘We Are Belfast’ is a chance for people to show the city of Belfast through their own eyes – a wide range of unique perspectives on the city is guaranteed.

The exhibition will run from Monday 7 June 2010 @2pm - Wednesday 9 June 2010 @4pm.
