We want our website to be more than just information. We are not interested in a website full of static 'stuff!' We want to create a place packed with dynamic and interesting content - a site you might want to revisit regularly.
We want our website to be an extension of our vision and values - a place of community, conversation, creativity and interaction. The Collective is the place for that. It's here that you will find contributions from many different people, including those who are part of the Redeemer Community and, from time to time, some special guests. You will find things that made us think, laugh, cry, hope, and be challenged. It's a section that will keep on growing - so just keep on scrolling and watch more articles load.
We would love you to interact with us through the site - so make sure to leave your comments!

IN THE CITY // Explosions in the Sky
"There might be weeping" stated an excited Joel Blakey as we walked from our pre-gig dinner at the Eg to Mandela hall. It was with this air of expectation for something pretty special that a few of us headed to see explosions in the sky last night.

IN THE CITY // QuirkyWeddings
Weddings. They are everywhere. Sometimes they are awesome. You get seated with some fun people, and the food is great, and everything is beautiful and the music is fun. You've also just witnessed one, if not two people you care about join their lives and hearts together, potentially before God, which is wonderful. Sometimes, weddings are awful. Super tacky, horrendous embarrassing speeches, gross food, no one you know, and if you're single a terrible reminder of how alone you are. Sigh. So many feelings.

IN THE CITY // Morning Claws
"There's a Westlife style stool at the front. I wonder if they'll stand up at the key change" - Christine McClune. A few of us traipsed down to WhitesTavern last week to check out a friends bands single launch. Mercy.

IN THE CITY // Rubber
A creature prowls aimlessly, driven solely by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance. The world at large will pay for this unforgivable crime. Nothing will escape the rage of this psychopathic car tyre...A serial killer tyre? That's right. - Queens' Film Theatre.

IN THE CITY // Ormeau Baths Gallery
Tucked away, down a side street is this beautiful Victorian building, The Ormeau Baths Gallery. If you weren't looking for it you would be likely to miss it, and that would be a shame. This once public bath house and swimming pool was converted into a gallery in the early 90's. Belfast has a knack for turning old buildings into something great.

Bringing the best of local film as well as the best of the international independent film scene to our humble QFT and Dublin Road Movie House. There are also rumours of films being shown on a boat in the Lagan. Fun!

IN THE CITY // Doodlebugs
I write an awful lot of things for grown-ups to do and not anything for small children to do! So, recently I met two lovely ladies //Tara Mullen and Jeanette Rankin// who run a workshop called Doodlebugs. It's designed for children ages 2 and a half to 11.

IN THE CITY // Before Machines
Local band Before Machines are just back from tour, with the promise of new material in the works. They are of the indie rock genre, but with pop punk and post rock influences. They've got brilliant energy, both in music and on stage. With off setting, but interesting drum beats, combined with sing-shouty vocals, a hint of synth and a lot of sweat these boys deliver. I'd thought it'd be fun to do a little Q&A with Dan Larkin//drums// and Andy Melville//vocals+guitar// as they've become part of Redeemer in the last couple of months.
