We want our website to be more than just information. We are not interested in a website full of static 'stuff!' We want to create a place packed with dynamic and interesting content - a site you might want to revisit regularly.
We want our website to be an extension of our vision and values - a place of community, conversation, creativity and interaction. The Collective is the place for that. It's here that you will find contributions from many different people, including those who are part of the Redeemer Community and, from time to time, some special guests. You will find things that made us think, laugh, cry, hope, and be challenged. It's a section that will keep on growing - so just keep on scrolling and watch more articles load.
We would love you to interact with us through the site - so make sure to leave your comments!

Where has all the trust gone?
Have you noticed recently a big question that’s hidden in the headlines of so many journals and newspapers around the globe “Where has all the trust gone?”. I was recently stirred and provoked to think about this question when I read a business article published by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), called “The Truth About Trust”. It caught my attention and in an extraordinary way refreshed my thoughts on ones perspective of life in the business world and reminded me of the reality of the world that we live in but even more so what my world would be like without God in the centre - without a God whom I trust with my whole life and whom I believe holds the times and the seasons of life in the palm of His hands.

Not another post about Christians in the workplace…
I’m serious about following Christ and I fully believe that fact should affect how I work and those I work with. So why do we sometimes find it a struggle to live it out in the workplace? To be completely honest about it, in my previous jobs the fact that I was a Christian probably hasn’t made much of a difference. Well I’ve recently started a new job and it’s got me thinking. What can I do differently this time to demonstrate and put into practice what I really believe? In Tim Chester and Steve Timmis’ book ‘Total Church’ they talk about living life with “gospel intentionality”. It has really hit home with me. Work is where I spend most of the day; nowhere else am I going to meet so many different people and have such a chance to be a Godly witness. How do I work with “gospel intentionality”?
