We want our website to be more than just information. We are not interested in a website full of static 'stuff!' We want to create a place packed with dynamic and interesting content - a site you might want to revisit regularly.

We want our website to be an extension of our vision and values - a place of community, conversation, creativity and interaction. The Collective is the place for that. It's here that you will find contributions from many different people, including those who are part of the Redeemer Community and, from time to time, some special guests. You will find things that made us think, laugh, cry, hope, and be challenged. It's a section that will keep on growing - so just keep on scrolling and watch more articles load.

We would love you to interact with us through the site - so make sure to leave your comments!

Technologic - Image

Ever despaired at the amount of time you spend online or attached to technology in either your workplace or during your leisure time (or both!). And what's all this about christian community - can the two ever be reconciled? Put it another way, can modern technological advances be usefully redeemed from their tendency to isolate their users? This post briefly chews on these thoughts.

Redeemer online: get connected

Redeemer online: get connected - Image

The world is now a very connected place and much of that is due to a small phenomenon that snotty nosed geeks refer to as the ‘interwebs’ or what Peter Kay calls “t’internet’’- you may have heard of it. The Internet which launched in 1995 is starting to grow up thanks to a social networking revolution and we at Redeemer are big fans. Our desire is to be connected to as many people as we can and use these technologies to share the Gospel of Jesus.
