This initiative is about dialogue and breaking down
cultural barriers in order to promote good relationships. It is hoped
that through this project our community will take ownership of the
Irish language and reclaim it as part of our shared heritage. The incorporation of Irish in our every day lives and religious
services is a way of preserving, maintaining and developing an
inter-cultural identity that breaks down divisions and enhances
understanding. Father Martin Magill
